Evergreen Line has introduced a new CIM service starting from Dalian Port in northeastern China, in response to the rapidly growing intra-Asian trade demand.
According to the announcement, the CIM (China–Indonesia/Malaysia) service will deploy five vessels with capacities ranging from 1,900 to 2,200 TEU and will operate on a 35-day rotation. The route is almost a closed loop: Dalian – Xingang – Qingdao – Ningbo – Surabaya – Jakarta – Singapore – Port Klang – Kaohsiung – back to Dalian.
Evergreen stated that this new service is “a key component in its Asia market development strategy,” enhancing connectivity between northern China and Indonesia — a market with strong two-way trade potential and rapid growth.
